underperforming is a fanzine about the beauty of underperforming and the rebellious act of deciding against being in a place that's been carved for us or that we've etched for ourselves.

a berth so narrow, we can't move or turn over without being extra careful, tear up ropes or break the concrete ground.

all being fissured by always-deeper cracks everyday from where shines the space left once the aces are gone.

underperforming is a series of pictures of objects, bodies or entities designed and manufactured for one specific purpose; left aside and abandoned to yet find their true place and rest peacefully.

something has broken, something which until then had fortified beliefs, impression of belonging.

now one's life is boundless, inexhaustible, made of noises and silence, of emptiness and completeness.

underperforming is terribly inspired by L'Homme qui dort by George Perec - a must seen, a must read for those who seek another path and are ready to set it all on fire.
